Danielle Schroder

Advocate.

Problem Solver.

Trusted Ally.

My Story

I became a lawyer for one reason: to help people in a tangible way.

As the daughter of a social worker and a forester, I grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work, service, and the importance of showing up for others when they need support. I also recognized the importance of accountability and justice. I didn't only want to listen to people's stories, I had a deep desire to accomplish real results. Those values ultimately led me to become the first lawyer in my family.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of representing hundreds of people across Wisconsin during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. Individuals recovering from serious injuries. Families navigating unimaginable loss. Employees facing discrimination, harassment, and unfair treatment in the workplace.

What I’ve learned is that legal problems are human problems.

Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and exhausted. They are trying to heal physically, emotionally, financially, or all three. They need answers, guidance, and someone they can trust to stand beside them.

I've also learned these problems have solutions.

With the right advocate on your side, it is possible to navigate the challenges and come out better on the other end of it all.

I understand that feeling more personally than you might expect. Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons where the path forward felt unclear and the challenges felt overwhelming. Those experiences shaped how I practice law today. They taught me the value of compassion, resilience, and having someone in your corner when life feels uncertain.

That’s why I built Schroder Law Office differently.

This is a boutique practice built on relationships, not volume. When you call, you speak with me. When you have a question, you get an answer. When challenges arise, you have an advocate who knows your story and is prepared to fight for the outcome you deserve.

Walking alongside clients from their first call through resolution is one of the greatest privileges of my work. Justice is my passion, but helping people move forward is what gives that work meaning.

Giving Back
Bigger than the Trail logo

When I'm not practicing law, you'll often find me outdoors. Whether I’m trail running, exploring a new hiking path, or simply spending time in nature, those moments help me recharge so that I can bring my best self to everything I do. I believe that physical wellness and mental and emotional health are all connected. Running reminds me that progress doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes it happens one step at a time.

In line with these values, Schroder Law Office is committed to giving back. At least 1% of all fees recovered go directly to Bigger Than The Trail, an organization that supports wellness and mental health.
